The show focuses on a neighborhood in the capital city of Damascus and the daily life of citizens under French rule. Bab Al Hara is a drama focusing on the oppressive state of people and their reaction in forming a rebellion to combat their oppressors.

To watch or not to watch:

To watch! It is a really powerful show revisiting the history of colonialization.
