The short
Grand Hotel or a.k.a., Secret of the Nile is the first Egyptian show on Netflix, and it’s a remake of an epic Spanish drama series, Grand Hotel. An amazing portrayal of love, betrayal, and drama!

The long
The original show is staged in and digs straight into 1950s Aswan, Egypt. Secret of the Nile offers a storyline overflowing with aesthetic plot twists all while retaining captivating cinematography, multifaceted characters, and stunning wardrobes. While swaying through history, the show is also able to contextualize itself within the 1950s Aswan’s era perfectly.

To watch or not to watch?
A big fat thumbs up! If you are into fictional and thrilling murder mysteries and nail-biting cliff-hangers, this show is a real antidote for you! Go, watch it!
