The Short

The Blue Elephant film is originally adapted from an Arabic Novel written by the famous Egyptian writer Ahmed Mourad. This nerve-wracking storyline has been portrayed phenomenally by talented Egyptian actors Karim Abdel Aziz, Khaled El Sawy, and Nelly Karim.

The Long

The story revolves around Dr. Yehia, a psychotherapist at Abbaseya psychiatric hospital. He works in the psychiatric department, treating the criminally insane individuals, only to find his best friend is one of the patients. In the process of helping his friend, he finds himself going down the dark hole.

To watch or not to watch?

YES, and YES! The movie is a masterpiece, as remarkable as the novel and deciphers a lot of chaotic questions in the mind of the viewers.
