The short: 

Fazil Say is one of the most respected Turkish Artists. He has gained international recognition for both his virtuosic performances and dazzling compositions. Through his innovation and talent, some recognize Say as one of the greatest artists of the twenty-first century.

The long: 

Traveling all around the world, Fazil Say gives around 120 concerts a year. Music critics praise Say for his extreme virtuosity when performing traditional works such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Stravinsky. Aside from his massive presence in performing classical works, fans of Fazil Say also appreciate his numerous contemporary compositions. Most of Say’s works such as Mesopotamia Symphony, Black Earth, and Silk Road, weave motifs from Turkish folk music with Western music. This stylistic choice provides listeners with a new listening experience and hindsight into Turkish culture.

To listen or not to listen:

Whether listening to his classical concerts or listening to his compositions, more people should listen to Fazil Say. After all, he has obtained countless prestigious awards, as well as, the recognition of both music critics and international audiences.
